There are three main casinos in Tenerife, two in the north and one found in Las Americas, on the south coast.

The Casino in Santa Cruz is found on the basement floor of the Hotel Mencey, on Calle Doctor Jose Naveiras, which is just off Rambla de Santa Cruz. The hotel in itself is a luxury accommodation and, in due course, will be included on my accommodation page.

The Casino on its premises consists of an area with 20 slot machines, which are available from 6pm until 3am, plus a room with a selection of gaming tables. There are three for roulette, two for poker and two for blackjack. These are open from 9pm till 5am.

Every Friday and Saturday, there are live acts featured. These perform from around midnight until the early hours.

The Casino is also home to an art gallery, showing examples of the best contemporary art.

Hotel With Casino In Tenerife

The Casino de Taoro is found in Puerto de la Cruz and is situated right in the centre of the Lago Martiánez swimming complex.

If you fancy a flutter, this is a really smart, upmarket place.

After paying an eight euro entrance fee, you are able to play the slot machines, or indulge in some more serious gambling at the tables.

Casino de Taoro offers 60 slot machines, playable every day from 11pm-2am.

The main gaming room features seven tables in total, playing both American and French roulette, blackjack and poker. This is open from 8pm till 3am, with an extension until 4am Fridays and Saturdays.

The Casino features a restaurant. The Isla del Lago is open every day from midday till half past midnight.

The Casino Las Americas is found in the fashionable Adeje area of Playa de las Americas. It is situated in the basement of the luxury hotel Gran Tinerfe, one of the best in the area.

The casino has an anteroom, containing 90 slot machines. Inside the casino proper, the serious gambling takes place and there is a total of 17 tables, featuring American roulette, blackjack and poker.

For a late bite to eat, there is an Italian restaurant, Little Italy.
